Celebrate in style at the luxury waterfront retreat next to the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club.

Sweet and savoury

Seasonal specialties abound at the Pistache pastry shop - from traditional Dresdner Christmas stollen, Christmas fruit cake, panettone and gingerbread houses, to handmade chocolate truffles - all gift wrapped if you wish. There’s also home made foie gras terrine, organic smoked salmon, fine de claire oysters, Tasmanian salmon fillet, roast butterball turkey, honey glazed pork ham, roast goose and roast beef rib eye, all with accompaniments. Fine food with a flamboyant flair

The show’s on at Traiteur with a chef’s kitchen on stage and a ceiling suspended bar.  Choose your style of dining rooms, or the cave privee, perhaps the largest wine cellar in Dubai.

Christmas Eve

Treat yourself to a four course dinner. Savour the sumptuous black winter truffle and pear salad with Abbaye de Troisuaux cheese toasted butter brioche. Then its the seared escalope of foie gras with puy lentils and Madeira infused veal jus followed by black peppered monkfish, globe artichokes, confit of shallots and basil sauce.

There’s also a tradional choice with a twist. It’s forest honey roasted butterball turkey, with apricot stuffing, gratin potato and thyme jus.  The sweet ending is glazed Grand Cru Maracaibo chocolate mousse with praline and raspberry. Dhs350 net per person, excluding drinks (half price for children from 6 to 12 years old).
