There’s a special autumn event from the Royal Horticultural Society in UK this month.
A Taste of Autumn (including Apple Day) brings together the sights, smells and tastes of the season in its four gardens around the country.
Visitors can experience a selection of local autumnal produce including cider, cheese, wine and bread.
Also on view are the superb fruit and vegetable displays by the Wisley Fruit and Vegetable garden teams.
Dates for each autumn event are 15th October (at Rosemoor, Devon), 20th-23rd (at Wisley, Surrey), 21st-22nd (at Harlow Carr, Yorkshire) and 21st-22nd (at Hyde Hall, Essex).
