Don't mention the Claus!

They have just removed miniature wooden Santa Claus figures from their shelves and destroyed them after customers complained they looked as if they were giving the stiff-armed (and illegal)
Nazi salute.

Josef Lange, a spokesman for the Rossmann chain that has 1,200 outlets, said: “We were astonished by the reaction.” Nevertheless, the figures had to go…

The UK’s post office is in hot water yet again. Not only has it been criticised for omitting any religious content for this year’s Christmas stamp collection, its choice of illustration has also been the subject of some wry comments.
