Milan fashion week was full to the brim with Italy’s sleek and sexy styles. The D&G collection brought us full-length finery with leopard-print chiffon and black velvet tuxedos. Dolce & Gabbana gave us the theatrical take on day dresses, with wide belts and bodices – and the occasional mask.
Jewellery and accessories were minimal and shoes were wedges of elegance.
Giorgio Armani was suave and sophisticated, with nipped in waists and details in print and embroidery. More svelte lines came from Versace, with a flash of colour breaking through to contrast with his black and white stunners.
Caped crusaders
The capes of many colours were there in layers of Emma Peel. Collections featured furry capes, caped coats, caped jackets and a kaleidoscope of colours.
